Title: Movies based on games. Post by: BANGKOK RED on Sunday, February 24, 2008, 17:17:45 Iv'e just watched the Hitman, which is a great game but the movie just didn't cut it, the plot and casting left alot to be desired.
I have never seen Final Fantasy the movie, again a great game but from what I can gather the movie wasn't all that. Tomb Raider: Again a fantastic game (After all why base a movie on a shite game). Tomb raider the movie really wasn't that bad at all IMO, with the added bonus of being Angelina Jolie-tastic. Have I missed any? Re: Games that might make good movies: Max Payne could be a good'un, as could command and conquer which with the Tiberium wars and the hand of nod ect. could make for an outstanding sci-fi war movie if done properly. I'm not so sure, Medal of Honour. European Assault was based on Saving private Ryan which was a blinder, as are most Star Wars based Games. The Godfather is a damned good game as well.
