Title: I Need..... Post by: Luci on Saturday, February 23, 2008, 18:52:16 A GOOD chinese takeaway in Swindon who takes Visa for less than a tenner and that I can collect. I'm too lazy to go to a cash machine.
I also need to decide what sauce to have on duck. Anyone recommend? :D Title: I Need..... Post by: BANGKOK RED on Saturday, February 23, 2008, 18:53:33 Orange sauce, I can help answer that at least.

Sauce sounds nice, rendezvous is lush didnt think youd want to go that far into town. Just ask for aextra sauce tehy normally charge 50p Title: I Need..... Post by: BANGKOK RED on Saturday, February 23, 2008, 18:58:07 I still stand by orange sauce, for me the "Tang" of the Orange compliments the duck much better then the sweetness of the plum.

Not sure why not anymore which is a shame. Ill go miles for a decent chinese. The Ruby in Chelt takes some beating though but not going that far! I may re-try parasol........ Bit I hate collecting takeout when everyone else is dressed up for dinner! Title: I Need..... Here in the Land of smiles roast chicken (hot or cold) is usually served with an orange and chilli (They MUST have chilli) "Dip". They compliment each very well, provided that they don't over-do the chilli. Title: I Need..... Post by: Luci on Saturday, February 23, 2008, 19:11:34 Quote from: "Samdy Gray" Zen in Gorse Hill. Thai food is indeed delicious lady, and is my second most favourite (After Indian and before English). Yet Thai food in Thailand has some certain twists to it. For starters: Thai cuisine has a reputation of being the spiciest in the world, and for good reason. I have been here for 8 years and yet I still have to ask them to take it VERY VERY easy on the chilli. It just ain't the same as back in the UK. Delicacies (SP):... FAT, in Thailand is considered a delicacy, along with stuff like skin, sinew and all the stuff that you and I would never even DREAM about eating. What I am trying to say is that when going to a Thai restaurant, in Thailand, you must specifically request for no fat nor offal be included in your dish whatsoever. If you remember those two main rules then it is some damned good eating out here. Title: I Need.....
