Title: Burgling watch
Post by: flammableBen on Saturday, February 23, 2008, 00:34:58
My mum swears she just saw someone in our garden. I went out and had a butchers but couldn't see anybody. Then when she was looking out the bathroom window she said she'd seen somebody again. I think she might have had a bit too much wine and still a bit shaken from the attempted effort the other day.

I said I'll stay up for a bit so that I'll hear if anybody tries to get in (I'm a nice lad). But I'm already getting a bit bored and I'm out of fags.

If ever there was a need to deliver Ben cigarettes then it's now. You also get to play vigilante crime stoppers.

Well that's a bit hopeful. You lot can at least keep me amused for an hour or so.

Boooo.....

Help me axs Kenobi you're my only hope.

Grrr.. I want to put some music on, but I said I'd keep an ear out for an hour or so. They'd have to make some noise getting in.

I'd forget about it but I'm not 100% sure my mum's being delusional. Meh.

Changing topopics, anybody a fan of Hot Chip? I think they got nominated for a mercury thingy prize a few years back and their most recent album has just come out. I've been listening to the mercury jobby more, pretty ace. Called The Warning I think.

good tunes.

If anybody delivered me cigarettes then I might burn them a copy.

Feel sorry for ya Ben!

I remember a few years back, when I was about 10, we were away and we got burgled. I couldn't sleep properly for the next few nights knowing that people had got into my house for fear it might happen again

Oh the Hot Chip note, they're very good. The Warning is a quality album. Only listened to the new one 3 or 4 times, but it shows signs of being quality too

Some years ago I got burgled....in the house at the time, but asleep, one of my kids who was about 7or 8 at teh time wandered downstairs saw what had happened and woke me up......cunts  had only just gone.

So I rang OB, who's line was the standard, what do you want us to do about, catch someone?  Its 3:00 in the morning, go back to bed and we'll send someone round, when we've got time.

Feeling dischuffed by this, I played my mastercard...."my wife works in a miltary establishment,  dealing with sensitive material"  "Her keys have been stolen so there may be security implications".    Ace  8)  forensic team , sniffer dogs,  place crawling with OB all within about 15 minutes.   They never caught anyone, mind.
