I heard on the radio this morning instead of the celebs getting goody bags they will "only"each recieve a watch (worth 5 grand each) poor lambs they must be gutted!  :o

No its on at 8pm tonight live.  They have a 30 second delay in case of anything shocking being said or done but thats it.  Ozzie is blatently gonig to say or so something outrageous  :soapy tit wank:

A little unfair I feel, McCartney's Beatles songs were just as good as the some what depressed Lennon.  Some of his love songs were excellent.  As were a few of Wings' tracks.  I can't help but feel the love in that Lennon seems to attract seems to be boosted by his untimely death.

Having said all that if I'm going to be honest I prefer George's Beatles song to Paul or John's.

A virgin box isn't as good once it's been used a lot. A new one would solve the problem but they're hard to find in Swindon.

I could say the same for the likes of 24, Lost etc. which apparently is the "cool" thing to watch nowadays.  I find them dull and samey and a bit of live entertainment in the form of music is a welcome change.

The Brits are a disgrace to music so i won't be watching.

I'm not a fan of award ceremonies either so I usually stay well clear of watching. At least they're not on every week.

The only one I ever think I might watch is the comedy awards, as I assume they'll be funny, but usually by the time it comes to the actual night I don't bother.

Although I was watching when Julian Clary made that "fisting Norman Lamont" comment one year.

If you don't like these shows then don't watch them or comment on them, simple really. :-))(

I always remember Angus Deayton doing a fucking storming job of insulting almost everyone when he presented it. I recall that quite clearly as being amazing, unfortunately i don't recall seeing Julian Clary present it (or did he do it receiving an award?), but i do remember the bit you mention.

The comedy awards are often pretty good, if you can see past the obvious sycophantic nature of any awards show and Gervais's "i don't really love myself" jokes. Still good value though.

That was crap, supposed to be hosted by Sharon & Ozzy but they got their kids involved, Ozzy disappeared for most of the night as well

And all the 'artists' that got awards when your looking at the other nominations and see someone else is a damn site better and lost out

That is why awards are always better being voted for by the public rather than a group of "professionals"

They should have invited Britney Spears and offer her some drugs that would have made it a fun night
