What does everyone reckon then? I fancy us for a win tonight, although we have an awful record against Cheltenham and their fans are all too keen to remind us of that. Crowd will be around 6500 I think, maybe more as it is technically a local derby (closest league club to us I believe?) and it's a cup final for Cheltenham. Pleased with our strikers, thought they always looked a threat, as did McNamee who looks class. Pook looked very decent in patches, certainly more involved than Peacs who was at least solid. JPM out right gives us more width, I'd have to disagree with DV and say I thought his final ball was generally poor - Miguel put some wonderfful crosses in, really whipped in with pace. He looks so much better with JPm ahead of him though. Brez and Vincent were a bit worrying at times. For a keeper whose handling is generally OK I wish Brez would catch the ball, his punching is pretty crap, I guess he's afraid of getting clattered again. A good 3 points against a team who looked half decent going forward, they gifted us 2 goals (note the first one, JPM still hit it straight at the defender and it rebounded to cox) from which they were never going to recover. We'll have to play better to get something in Nottingham on Sat though. Pook did very well, even his passing was generally very good, besides ball winning. Those two, plus the good combination of Paynter and Cox, were the reasons we won IMO, the rest were not very impressive except for the Robers cameo at the end. I couldn't really hear Cheltenham apart from that fecking drum. They could have properly sung us out of the County Ground if they wanted to, but I guess when you bring the majority of your home support to a local game you're always going to get teh sorts that don't sing at all. I must admit I thought JPM was crap last night. His delivery was really poor apart from one in the first half. Jerel was also not at his best. Overall a good 3-0 win though. I think MacNamee saw off the first right back and Roberts the second one.
