Anyone know how long you generally have to wait to get an NHS dentist? I'm considering downing a bottle of rum and some DIY dentistry at the moment. Dentists don't bother me. They took someone examined by the head honcho of dentists who gave them pretty much the all clear with perhaps scope for a little minor cosmetic scraping and the like. Out of the ten or so dentists they sent the young lass to all but two where ready to rip the drill out, one even tried to pull teeth and give her 8 fillings. The old man’s best mate went to one dentist who told him he needed major, major dental work. He took a 2nd opinion with an NHS chap who told him his teeth where perfectly healthy and he didn’t need anything doing at all. Why not DIY with dental floss? Slide it in the gaps on both sides of offending tooth, cross hands at front and pull apart and upwards (or downwards).
