Title: Fancy a cup of tea mate? Post by: Amir on Tuesday, April 19, 2005, 16:53:08 So I'm working at this blokes house today and he's a proper computer gimp, no social skills whatsoever, you know the type. I've worked with computer programmers before and 95% of them were utter self-important cunts(the other 5% were good as gold though, top people), so I kind of knew what to expect.
Anyway, to cut a short story even shorter, the dick made himself three cups of tea today and didn't even offer me one!!! This despite the fact the bloke I was actually doing the work for had asked him to make me tea. I'm completely disgusted by this, and am now plotting revenge. The moral of the story being if someone is working at your house, OFFER THEM A CUP OF TEA!!!! It might be me  Title: Fancy a cup of tea mate? Rich people are the worst for it to be honest. I've worked in people's gardens setting up parties in the middle of winter, and now a brew in sight. Now if you go round some old boy's who fought in the war for you, to do 10 minutes work at his council flat, he won't let you leave without tea and some biscuits :) Title: Re: Fancy a cup of tea mate? I'm waiting for somebody to reply to that and say "like Sonic?" :( Title: Fancy a cup of tea mate? I did a weeks work for a bloke last year who's favourite topic of conversation was what you had in your sandwichs. He also regaled me with a ten minute story of how he saved 8p in a shop once :soapy tit wank: You're alright, Sonic. We could talk about Braintax :) Title: Fancy a cup of tea mate? Post by: Asher on Tuesday, April 19, 2005, 18:28:41 I had a decorator in today and when he arrived I showed him the tea and sugar and said milk in fridge, even took out a few cups and some spoons and left them on teh side. He didnt even used them when I asked why he said wanted to crack on and get it done. If only my cat hadnt jumped on teh window seal would I not have to have someone come back tomoz and do that!
