Title: Russell Slade
Post by: stfcben on Wednesday, December 26, 2007, 20:37:37
Russell Slade has said he felt that his side dominated today's game and there was a gulf between the two sides.

I'd like to put the record straight Mr Slade. In the first half there is no doubt that Yeovil were the better side. I certainly feared the worst and did not particularly enjoy watching Yeovil create a large number of attacks.

However, for me in the second half we totally turned it around. I rarely remember being thretened by a Yeovil attack. We won almost every ball. Played it around on the deck and scored a lovely goal, we probably should have scored more. Without question we certainly looked by far the better team.

Therefore overall it's not really a true reflection to say that Yeovil didn't get what they deserved. I came away for the first time in ages thinking we'd actually won playing some half decent football!

WELL DONE BOYS! UUUUUUU RRREEEEEEEDDDDDDDSSSSSS

the people from yeovil seem a bit simple

after skiverton got sent off they started chanting 1-0 to the referee, despitre the fact we scored some 15 minutes previous and in open play as well...

I remember at the game at the CG, where two sides virtually cancelled each other out, but we were the only ones looking to win the game.

They got a debatable corner, which they scored from, and that was that.

So, in the end, we've just got our revenge.

Russell Slade is a muppet. Did anybody else see the way he came running out of the dugout claiming a handball, only because the fans behind the goal shouted for it. There's no way he could have seen

He must have not seen the fact that in the first half his team got all the decisions dispite the fact that Marcus Stewart simply feel over most of the time. The same can be said for their simply fans, they didn't seem mind when the ref was totally bias in the first half.

They ran out of ideas.

Their tactic is obviously to win games 1-0. So they cant complain when they loose a few.

And Marcus Stewart was man of the match apparently!  :soapy tit wank:

Darren Byfield got MOTM when he was playing for Rotherham away to Millwall a couple of years back I believe. Rotherham won 6-0 and Byfield scored four of them. Or something along those lines.

I stand corrected.

Doesn't happen often though.
