Yes and what's the point of phones when you can just talk to people in real life? Ever since phones were invented nobody ever speaks to each other in person. Also the postal system, what's the point of writing to people when you could just go and see them?

I agree, without it, Id forget so many birthdays and I like chatting to some old mates I haven't seen - especially ones I met travelling.

I only use Facebook for band promotion purposes. It's not great at all. People kepy inviting me to use it so i thought "fuck it i will" and now i have a group for my band. In truth people who are obsessed with it need a life. I seen people with too many friends on that thing.

I mate of mine wanted to add me to his facebook thingy......I didn't like the sound of it.   Think its probably for you young uns :old:    Not really sure what its about, but  as for keeping up to date with old friends, ex birds etc,  I've always taken the view when its gone its gone, if by random chance you meet up again, all well and good, but its not something I'd ever seek.
