I went out. Town was dead, so was old town. Watched a couple of mates eat curry then came home because none of us could be bothered. If Claire and I were more drunk I would have tried it on but alas, no.

Horsham 4 - 1 Maidenhead

Some sort of 136 year record has been busted I think.

It'd be nice to get Horsham in round 2.....I was at the game in 66, when we won 3-0. I liked the fact that the crowd was given as exactly 8,000, despite the fact they had no turnstiles, or stands, or terrracing.

Horsham would be a good draw, but I'd prefer to play Oxford before they get knocked out by somebody we've never heard of!

I was out seeing Enter Shikari who are too shouty/screamy for my liking. Would have been ok without that. However they do put a lot of energy into it and the drummer was a nutter. The guitarist did one of those jump forward and do a roll in mid air things whilst playing, was mighty impressive.

Did anyone see the Staines goal? They were all wearing yellow hats and one guy, who ran towards the front was dressed in full Ali G gear. Their nickname is 'the massive'!!

I know their website is called 'The Massive' and the BBC commentator in my opinon wrongly said last night their nickname was 'The Massive', but Staines Town have always been called THE SWANS.

I've taken to drinking Carling usually on a Friday night......you're right its not too good at geting you drunk, but you can drink loads of it over a decent lrngth of time and remain at least sensible.  Also its alright for a midweek outing,  like tomorrow when I'm off to the wonderful Tetbury Working Mens Club.

Carling is easy to drink too, Unlike Kronenbourg.

My fridge at the flat is currently stocked with Strongbow, Sol and Carlsberg Export.
