Asking SSW to step into the negotiations? Surely to Christ there's no-one at the Trust that still believes that it's third parties that are demanding a couple of million quid for his shares and another 8 million in loan repayments and interest on top? This will be the basis for future protests. Unless they relent and accept that the loans will not be repaid (which IMHO they shouldn't be anyway) all prospective bidders will walk away and the club will die.

However, SSW still retains a fair amount of respect among many fans and there's no harm in being polite to the man. If he wishes to disabuse us of the notion that he is being led astray by advisers and middlemen and that rather it is he who had led the club into its current predicament, then he only has to say so.
