Been on orange for a while and basically can't get a great reception at work, or at home, and it's expensive. I'm gonna change network this week - anybody know of any decent deals? Ideally I'm after 200 mins or more, to any network, and 250+ texts?

Not strictly true. I was at a client's the other week and my two colleagues could not get a signal on their Vodafones. They had to borrow my O2 phone which was maximum.

O2 IMO are the best.  Their customer service is very good too.  Always resolved any problems and only took a matter of hours to get my old number transferred over.

Personal choice really.

I've always stuck with Vodafone and find them very helpful with good coverage.

For value for money, you really can't beat T-Mobile.

If it's value for money you want two tins and a piece of string are good. Network coverage is a let down though

I switched to Vodafone about 2 years ago from Orange  - as their cust servs got really crap  - and took one of their direct deals rather than go through the shop and it is better - I threatened to leave them a few months ago at the end of the contract as their shop told me it would cost me £100 to upgrade my phone, phoned them got the phone for free, new bluetooth headset (got £80 for it on ebay) and mp3 speakers.

I get a signal everywhere I go.

Apparently 3's coverage isn't very good.

I'm going to be needing two new phones in a while. Are there any deals out there where you can bundle two lines together or something? Where is the best place to look on the net for deals without going direct to the networks?

orange are pretty rubbish - they have deadspots in their coverage which seem to be in places you'd think they'd do better, like Southampton near the Uni, North London, and anywhere on the train in between.  Impossible to call or even email a human in customer service, plus they will pimp your number out to all and sundry to try and get you to sign up to another contract even when you've told them politely, and impolitely, 'No thanks'.

I'd change - the only thing that saves them is i don't use it much and i am still on the same contract i was 10 years ago - everyday50, costs me 15 quid a month with probably an extra fiver on top for a few calls.

I was looking to bundle mine and the wife's mobile onto 1 contract about 3 months ago and was told time and again that they don't do those type of contracts now....

If you want new phones and not bothered about keeping your numbers there is plenty of good deals on-line with new phones just do a search or I have heard the car phone warehouse in the town do good deals on new contracts

I thought as much. Bastards. Oh well, at least the better half gets to choose her own phone now rather than have me do it for her
