Some people swear by them others swear at them and our retail side shift quite a few but also end up swapping a lot out because a most people expect them to be all things to all men when at the end of the day it's a phone with an average GPS and decent camera attached. Decent phone but like some have said here, update the software away from the operator stuff - details here: http://clear-nokia.blogspot.com/2007/05/nokia-n95-debranding-guide.html Camera is decent - you get good shots out of it, and it comparable to the K800s etc. GPS is slow slow slow ... Get the maploader from smart2go.com and download them via the net then disable the over the air downloads to avoid a nasty surprise! Battery isn't as bad as people say - I get a good three/four days out of mine on 3g ... but the sat nav, for example, will drain the battery dry in about 90 mins. Wicked phone, but you must keep a charger in the car. Sat Nav is an extra cost if i remember rightly, however i think they load the maps on to the memory card now so its free. The touch sensitive bits take a bit of getting used to but that doesn't take long.

After 11 months of Samsung shit I've finally got a decent replacement for the W800i. Only played with it for a couple of hours so far but I reckon it's gonna be something special. |
