Just watched it and it's pretty fucked up. Ace though. I vaguely remember seeing a bit of it as a kid and stumbled upon a reference to it on the internets and so got hold of a copy.

It's your standard Czech Surrealist makes a live action / stop-motion animation mix film of Lewis Carroll's books affair.

I wouldn't watch it when stoned or anything but definitely worth a viewing. Some of the stop-motion stuff is creepy strange. The White Rabbit who snorts up his own sawdust stuffing stuff when he pulls out his pocket watch is bizarre and ace.

The only other thing I can think of is The Way Things Go (Der Lauf Der Dinge) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Der_Lauf_Der_Dinge).

It's where Honda thiefed the idea for those adverts with things rolling into each other. Not so much a film as just a long sequence of events which shows that people can have far too much time on there hands. Just about fills out 30mins without getting too repetitive.

Have a picture of that to, although it doesn't really mean much if you can't see where things are going.

found it, it's Der auf der dinge not Lauf! well at least on search engines on torrent sites. the actual film is as you wrote it.

I'll pm you the torrent for alice. Downloaded it recently so it should be still working. I'll have a butchers for the other one, got it a while ago though so don't know it's still working.
