The Millennium it is not. Worse, as an away fan you'll be in temporary seating on the open Hill 16, miles from the pitch. Hopefully there'll be more Germans there than the piss poor turn out in Cardiff, otherwise the atmosphere could be a bit flat.
To understand Hill 16 and a million other things about the place, a visit to the GAA Museum at the ground is an absolute must. It's 20ish minutes walk from the centre of Dublin, with numerous stopping options en route. I've never had to pay anywhere near £5 a pint, and as for nightlife, take your pick.
