Title: Oxford Utd.
Post by: herthab on Thursday, September 13, 2007, 15:54:13
Are they so shit they're now off the radar?

I used to really care about how poorly they were doing, it gave me endless pleasure, but now I rarely give them a second thought.

I don't even go on their forum and take the piss anymore.

I feel I've lost something.......................

I hadn't noticed they got a useful away point in the week.....I'd like to gloat, but fear it may well rebound....we're probably in a much worse state off the pitch than they are.

It's quite conceivable to see us going tits up rather rapidly under our new regime and being left in a sorry mess..

The last time that happened Ray Houghton was Scottish and John Aldridge was English.

Strikes me that there are similarities, insofar as Kassam made plenty of credible noises which took in many of the scum fanbase,  whilst his sole interest was profit for himself....he had no interest in the club.

It took a long time for the majority of fans to see what was happening, by which time it was too late.   WTF are the 3 amigos doing at our club?

I find it hard to laugh at them nowadays because it's not even worth it!

If we actually played a game against them I'm sure the feeling would come back pretty suddenly. Hopefully the FA Cup draw will be kind to us!

I suspect 2.....the other 2, being happily occupied by the back of a hotel and shopping mall.  It wont have escaped Mr Little's notice that the crowd for a biggish game v Yeovil, could be quite easily accommodated in a two sided CG.

They lost 3-2 at home to Aldershot yesterday. They look like they could be stuck in the Blue Square Premier league for a while  :D
