Title: PS2 Games... help!
Post by: Mark Hanrahan on Sunday, August 26, 2007, 15:28:50
I feel like a little boy lost!

A mate has given me a PS2 but I've not got a scooby about decent games. I've got my hands on a couple of crackers... Black and Pro Evo 6 stick out. I'm not likely to spend hours on it... don't have the time. Nonetheless, it would be good to have a few well recommended games for those cold, lonely nights. 8)

Pro Evo 6 (as you mentoned), Grand Theft Auto series (buy any of them. all fantastic), Gran Turismo, Tekken, Fight Night, Tiger Woods... that should be a good start.

I'm after the type of game that works well when you've got back home from the boozer half cut. Nothing too strenuous. I'll also probably lose patience with all this in a few weeks and get rid so need them cheap and cheerful...

buy a cheap eye toy, and a game to go with it. Hours of fun when drunk

Just pro evo should be enough. It's the single greatest thing since the creation of real football.

Super Monkey Ball Deluxe. It's the only game aside from Pro Evo that you will ever need.

The best World War 2 games are the Brothers in Arms games. Also like the 2 'spaghetti western' games "GUN" and "Red Dead Revolver", but they get boring once completed, which doesn't take long.

Any of the TOCA Race Driver series are quality, and Castle Combe is on Race Driver 3!

Pro Evo is pretty much all I ever use mine for!
If you're looking for cheap and cheerful then you can get GTA games at a very low price now.

As somebody said before, a TOCA game never goes amiss either!

It's just remarkable how realistic it is. What console you playing it on?

I'm selling my entire PS1/PS2 collection of around 60 games at ridiculously cheap prices. If anyone's interested, PM me for a list.
