Vodafone have given me a Sharp GX17 as a courtesy phone while mine is being repaired. I can't for love nor money get the bastard thing to read my numbers stored on my sim card :x When someone texts me or rings me, their name comes up but when i click on 'contacts' no list comes up :evil: Is there a solution to this? I've read the instruction manual through and through to no avail. All i get in the contacts list is AA roadside assistance and a load of Vodafone customer care numbers! “Contacts” → “Contacts List” → [Options] → “Advanced” → “Save New” 1. Select Contacts location from “SIM Memory”, If that doesn't work you can copy between SIM Card and Handset “Contacts” → “Contacts List” → [Options] → “Advanced” → “Copy All Entries” 1. Select “From SIM to Handset” or “From Handset to SIM”. You can then see the contacts in the way you were trying before. I had exactly the same problem when I got my new Sony Ralph.
