It's a big deal down here, with Winter and Summer Leagues. Until I moved down here I'd never played, or been in a pub I was aware had an alley. Post by: yeo on Monday, August 20, 2007, 21:03:57 Ive not seen a pub with a working skittle alley in Swindon,I think the Prince has one that they use for Folk Gigs.Used to be quite a few in Yeovil though,I remember my parents used to leave us in the Skittle Alley of the Green Dragon while they were in the bar,we loved it 8)

Post by: Reg Smeeton on Monday, August 20, 2007, 21:05:52 There always used to be plenty of skittles played in Swindonia, especially in the Working men's clubs.....when I were a little un....I used to set up and retrieve for the old man in the BR club Shrivenham Road.....great club.. been rotting for years now.
