Me too.

I hate those small butts you find, I can only get a couple of drags off them.

The bigger the butt the better!

I think it's a matter of proportion. What may look big on a skinny girl could look small on the larger lady.

You can buy butts in Homebase.

I think the biggest they do is 25 gallon.

Just thought I'd let you know.

Its quite common to find somewhere called The Butts in villages and small towns in England.....this was where archery was practised,  a kind of civil defence, that the yeomen of England undertook in case of need to fight off invasion.

Think it was Edward III who  either tried or did ban football, becasue it distracted from archery.

My parents live on the road behind The Butts in Westbury   Infact - I'm pretty sure a TEF member lives on that road.

That's the name of the road I park my car in when we play Brentford (away obv). Now I know why no longer will I childishly giggle at the name.  Thanks Reg.

The road that leads to my children's primary school in Lydiard is called "The Butts".

I thank Reg for explaining an ongoing curiosity in my life.

Archers indeed.
