The Club will be contacting all fans who have pre-ordered their kit as soon as delivery has taken place. Anyone who has pre-ordered their kit can also contact the STFC Superstore on 0844 8801086 and arrange to pick up their kit after 3pm today. The Club would like to thank fans for their patience, and as a gesture of goodwill, the names of all fans who have pre-ordered will be entered into a prize draw, with one lucky fan winning a signed replica shirt plus two Executive tickets to the opening League One game of the season verses Luton Town on Saturday 18th August.
The replica kit will be available and on general sale from 9am on Friday 10th August. The STFC Superstore will also be open from 08:30 until 16:00 on Saturday 11th August

I believe we haev to keep it for 2 years under FL Rules dont we? If you ahev a shirt oen season can only charge £29.99 I thought,

well yeah thats whatr I thought, but then we were charged £32 last season for a one year kit.....and when have we ever been know to keep a shirt for 2 years or even stick to the rules?!

Maybe with inflation the price has gone up? Only logical explanation why as Man U etc charge £39.99 maybe they upped the price to £35.00?

I think the change of sponsors allow us to get around the rule.

Just picked my shirts up, very nice and seem good quality. They are not skin tight, about same sizes as last season. There were no stickers Lady from what I could see.

Did they have any posters of the official team photo Gaz ?

I didn't see any mate, saying that I was just in and out really as I got there at 10 to 5 so didn't have a chance to really look around. At a quick glance I didn't see any mate.

Had a look at them today and I'm still not convinced. The sponsor still seems a bit low.

A bloke was moaning in there, saying that for an extra fiver he could get a premiership shirt. Why the fuck are you in the swindon club shop then!!  :-))(

I don't see why you would expect Premiership shirts to be more expensive. The team being better shouldn't make it a more attractive buy - you support who you support!

I wouldnt buy one of these shirts for £34.99. They are poor quality. Some of the badge is missing. and the sponsor is embarrasing. Can buy prem shirts at better quality for cheaper in JJB. (though I would rather poke my eye out with some dalmation poo)

Just been to the club shop. Reasonably busy considering it was half 8 on a saturday morning. I'm sorry but the new shirts look fucking great!

As for the quality issue, I can't see any difference between the new kit and Lonsdale...........

But they are a big though..

I have to say, that's the first time I've seen the new kit 'in the flesh' and it looks pretty good.

In fact, I'm going to get me a home one for the first time in several seasons.

Some cheeky bastard did ask me if I was jesus wearing the white one yesterday though... The long hair and  beard didn't help me much in that situation. :|

I saw a few people wearing the home kit yesterday and being the whinging git that I am, I still don't like it  8)

I saw a few shirts with some letters missing on the back already. I expect many will take their shirts back.

took mine back - bit of a smudge on the sponsors logo - got an away one instead - oh no beer and curry on white!! It's nice and big though.

i got an XL, what with me being a tubbier fucker than last season, its a bit big on me, but i like it!

There are some white polo's which are quite nice.

I prefer last season's black polo though.

But to be fair, it does say to wash at 30 degrees and to iron it inside out. I presume most people chose not to read it, or to ignore it

As for washing, i wash all my clothes at 30 c so that doesn't matter.

I bought a training top and a pair of shorts today, not bad in the shop let alone the women! ha

Anyone else had any problems with the new kit? i wore mine 2-3 times and it was washed once at 30 degrees and all the lettering on the bottom at the back has come off and the kingswood group writing on the front is now peeling off as well, obviously not well made.

If they can guarantee the pikey cladding lettering will come off I might be tempted to get one.

Yeah my brother has had the same problem. Washed it once and the first few letters of Kingswood have come off.

this happened to a friend of mine too. the woman at the shop said they wouldn't exchange it, but she caved in after he had a bit of a benny at her  :mrgreen:

Try washing it inside out, that should make it better. Its what i got told to do when i got name and number on the back, so i imagine it would be the same now

Went in to the shop this morning. The bloke in front of me got one and was told to wash it carefully as a number had been returned.

same has happened to mine, can't be arsed to return it though, it will only happen to the new one aswell!

Alot of colour comes out the shirts as well. So most likely the red will bleed into the white bits. Hand wash, hand wash!

I shall have to wear mine very sparingly by the sounds of it!

No spoke to someone at the club shop and they said to bring them back. Another suggestion I would make is to take your shirt to the club shop and get them to put the heat press on them like they did with the Nationwide things last season that stopped it from peeling.

1. the tranfer's haven't peeled.

2.the colour hasn't run.

It's quite basic really.

Turn it inside out.....

Put it in the washing machine (It says 30 degrees, but I do mine on 40,)

Take it out, hang it up, put it on.

I washed mine properly yet the lettering is peeling off so i will be taking mine back and i expect them to give me a replacement, lotto should have done the lettering some other way because it seems alot of people are having these problems.
