My absolute favourite kind of post is when some one, quite often fatbury but not always, posts a player's name as a heading....'Paul Dickov' for example and you think, 'Ooooh! we've signed some one' but then you read it and it says, 'He's been released. Do you reckon we should try to sign him?'

Those kinds of posts should just be deleted immediately. They are an utter fucking waste of time and make me want to stab some one.

Something i have often tried to do and something i hoped to achieve with this thread.

I feel the responsibility of the content lies with the posters and not the mods. I'm not saying do not censor, because it's required. I'm just saying that sometimes some silly little thread is started and for the sake of amusement, a load are then started. It's about as funny drinking bleach and disrespects the forum owners and users.

I try not to post bollocks, and like to think that my posts are well thought out and reasoned. Unless of course they were in response to Bart or i felt the need to reply with added vitriol.

1) If you are interested in the thread read it and post if you feel like it.

2) Read it smile at some of the comments but think to yourself does not really interest me.

3) If it is titled something you know is not of interest dont bother reading it getting pissed off then moan at it

   I think its much to do with the layout as anything else, but thisis really has hit rock bottom....maybe its for the best, as it does seem to be gathering a dedicated group of users.

Just because I was off trying to drug my self up on chewing gum for most of the week (1 success out of about 20), doesn't mean that I'm not going to stick up for the manatees.

To start of with it was meant as a jokey response to the sort of repetitive threads you're moaning about, although it did get a bit carried away.

Everything else you say is true though (I think, I haven't really read it). The TEF has been getting a bit thisisy at times, especially the boardroom section... The I've got 32 posts making the same point over and over again people are the worst.

The best people can do is try and keep up the general high (or at least irreverent) quality of posting across the board.
