Title: drunken thefts
Post by: oxford_fan on Sunday, March 27, 2005, 17:16:25
thought there was already a thread on this but had a brief search which was fruitless.

last night we got the sign for the local cricket club which is about 5 foot wide and 3 foot tall. and also a sign from my old football team's clubhouse.

i kind of feel a little guilty now though.

:D

Every man should have a traffic cone!  I think even Reg has one.

We took it a tad to far and had a few to many at one point and had to do a run at night and get rid under the cover of darkness.

Best we did years ago was a keg of beer - Fucking heavy!
Garden gnomes - Had about 20 of
10 metre sign from an offie - made the local rag!

damn students.

Once me and my friend found some abandoned traffic signs. So we blocked off a road. It was great until i had a driving lesson the next day and went down the road. Had to turn round. Felt silly

That's just reminded me James did the same thing a few years back with cones.

Lost all memory of that until now.

Just for the record. I have two lovely traffic cones sat in my garden.
Good use for football posts.

Sorry me and old dilly five bellies win this on two separate occasions.  When I lived in Bushey (herts) my old girl went abroad for 6 months, she left me at home which was nice as its a big old house and was rent free (and many parties) and one night me and my mate jon decided it was a great idea to steal the Bushey Conservative Club sign with included a moose!!! it was about 8ft by 6ft.

My mum went mental when she found it on her return espo after teh local paper had a article about it.  Me and my mate had to chop it up and burn it!!! Then dilly nicked the watford magistrate sign!!! Oh one day I will grow up I guess.....
