Reading the article on Yoann Folly on the Adver site, i came across tthis in the second from last para:

'Former Swansea forward Adebayo Akinfenwa was tipped to be unveiled as a signing, but with half-a-dozen clubs now in the chase for him the 25-year-old has yet to select his preferred destination.'

Do we have him or not??

was meant to complete his medical yesterday.still no news i presume?

Sounds a bit dodgy, firstly he was supposed to complete his medical on monday then today and still nothing, wonder if something has gone wrong?

You can have a medical yet still not join so it's more than possible that he's stalling.

I'm not worried... Probably because I'm not his biggest fan.

I think that Yoann Folly article was written on Friday wasn't it? Talks about Sturrock being frustrated on two transfer fronts on Thursday.

I think we've signed him, but if it was to go pete tong its on our terms due to him failing a medical. That article is from friday. I reckon he'll be unvielded sometime this week officially

i too am not worried if he doesn't sign. we've got significant investment behind us now so we can start buying proper decent players instead of carthorses from backwater clubs who shouldn't even be in our league.

Fair point kind of forgot about Forest now their this low down in the same league as us and also he only played for them for one season. You don't really associate former England internationals playing for what is now a league 1 club.

Strictly speaking though he made his name in a Blue shirt playing for Millwall.
