They open before 9am for breakfast servings, could be a problem Sonic getting up that early. :)

Is that even legal?  That is a right pain in the arse, I've been back a month from uni, got a job in the first week but have had to wait until now for my bloody references to come through (job is at the airport so they have to check I'm not a terrorist).  I'm sick of being a bum - actually quite looking forward to working.  I feel like I've done sod all in the past month except go out drinking....

Really sorry to hear that James, have you tried agencies for temping work as they often pay quite well?

I heard not sure if its correct your job was outdoors based? If thats what you wanted you could try looking at websites such as English Heritage and the National Trust as they often take on people to help look after various listed properties/gardens in and around our area?

James if you don't mind travelling to Swindon register with these agencies as they have loads of work about (if you don't have any luck at Sams place) - just tell them you want perm as they're running low on temp work as uni students are back for the summer.

Office Angels
C&D Elite Recruitment
Witton Recruitment
Select
Pertemps
Randstad

I would say they were some of the best and ones I've used before......

No, they don't advertise externally, plus it'll be Capita - not Zurich.

We use Reed and Blue Arrow.

Where I am workin might be looking for someone to do some data base updating its West Swindon, good pay you would need to go thru C and D, the current incumbant is leaving today allegedly if her new is confirmed, and they need someone for a month of two to tidy up the customer database.

Otherwise Pertemps and Randstad have been good for me in the past.
