5 year age gap is nothing, assuming said bird is 18 or older.   In fact its pretty common for birds that age, to go with slightly older blokes, because they've probably got a bit of dosh.   Trick though is to realise the bird probably sees it as a bit of sport and not much more, being too young for something more serious.

Recovery is slow going. I was hoping that I would be able to walk as soon as my cast came off, but unfortunately that isn't the case! I have had 2 bouts of physio so far, the first one was more of a massage and some basic excercises and the second was a bit more painful, really easy stuff like picking up a bit of paper with your toes is bloody painful! I can feel slow improvement day by day and I have to have physio 3 times a week until the 6th of July!

I walked to the physio this week, it normally would have taken between 10 and 15 minutes and it took 35-40 minutes and had to stop 4 or 5 times. I had to get a lift home as I was so exhausted!

It is slow going but I am getting there! This forum gets me through the day! :D

As I am blatant, what actually happened (dont answer if  thats cuntish - whats a word)

I was playing football on a Sunday as usual, I was jogging as the ball was at the other end of the pitch and I felt like someone had trod on my heel and I heard a loud 'crack' noise. I originally thought I had broken my ankle as I couldn't walk. I hobbled painfully home and then got taken to the hospital, where they told me within 1 minute that I had snapped my Achilles. If you feel your ankle and up the back of your leg, it kind of feels like a small bone. My damaged leg didn't have that and hence why I wasn't able to walk!!

To be honest, I have already had my left knee rebuilt and done my right achilles just from kickabouts with my mates so I don't think I am going to go near a football pitch again!!  :evil:

Someone i know got a stage 2 attendance warning cos he was off sick having a triple heart bypass.

Our post never arrives earlier than 9am and never later than 12 noon so I figure our postie must only do 3 hours a day.  Allow another hour to oil his bike, it's still a short day.  That said if the management are as bad as you say it puts a complete downer on any job - I'd last about 2 days max

We start at 5am and sort till 8am.

Delivery from 8am till 1pm.

Posties should start earlier. We don't get our first post 'til gone 11.
