Here is what I would add to make the perfect game:


when playing a game with two legs they should show the aggregate score in the corner.

sort out the damn commentary. It doesnt have to be brilliant, but at least stop the "a great effort by... I THINK A FEW OF THE FANS THOUGHT THAT WAS IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Yeah ok trevor calm down.

Make the goalkeepers a bit better I guess....

i'm still on PES3, i canny be bothered to buy the new one because it takes the fun out of playing round someone elses house. i havent had the sound on during a game for ages, it makes me hurt.

i doubt i'll buy PES5 either, dont mind alpen prefer shreddies.

I heard that a new Pro Evo was coming out with a new Playstation (PS X?) in the summer. My source is probably about as reliable as a fish pie though.

I've only just started getting good on pes4, last couple of weeks I've started to win most of my games on six star and can now beat any of the teams.

There's not a huge amount wrong with it although the commentary is poor but I'm not that bothered about that.

They say they are gonna release pro evo on the PSP (playstation portable), this will enable you to be able to play 2 (probably up to 8?) player via the wonders of a wireless connection.

i've fixed that. copied an option file from my mates memory card which has all the exact names, kits, logo's, etc.

Did that MONTHS ago mate - copied it off james. get with the times! Im having PES4 tournement at mine on friday night. I think ill win - oh and no strangers allowed.

So nobody has any suggestions on how to make it better? They shouldnt bother making a new one then.

I feel like investing in my first ever PlayStation tomorrow. My parents have never really liked the idea of me having a console, but they're going away tomorrow and not coming back on Friday, so what can you do... The addiction to Pro Evo is too strong.

That's it really, though Headers are a pain in the arse to score in PES4.

Agreed. The amount of times you think you've won the ball and it's given as a free-kick (and when you know you'e fouled him and got away with it) is unbelievable. Corners and throw ins often go the other way to which everyone expects.

But what is really fucked is the advantage rule. You get hacked down, the advantage thing goes up in the top corner and whilst its still there you lose the ball and 5/10 times they are allowed to carry on.

I can't think.... is a PS2 heavy to carry?

Headers are easy to score if you rule like me.

no, those new one's are minute and weigh virtually nowt.

agree with jimbo, the advantage needs a little work but if you go back to pes3 you'll see how crap it was at first.

I score most of my goals from headers. As long as you have some tall players it's one of the easiest ways to score. Just take it down to the corner flag whip in a cross then when it's at the right height a nice powerful header usually does the trick. Just takes a bit of practice.

double tap O for the cross and the cross is flatter so they header it on target more.

triple tap O is a beaut. When playing against my mates I find it piss easy yo score with through balls if you've got fast strikers - eg. you're Senegal or Cameroon
