Title: I had a Mountain Bike Stolen last bank Holiday
Post by: yeo on Monday, May 28, 2007, 14:17:15
Ive just seen it locked up outside Tescos. There is no mistaking its my bike but I cant prove it apart from Ive got the thief on CCTV taking it with a hoody up and its a firly distinctive Claude Butler.

So ive nicked the front wheel back and put lock on the frame and back wheel (it has the new "owners" lock on it as well) and left a note with my number on it saying "give me a ring and we'll sort this out you theiving little cunt" or words to that effect :soapy tit wank:

Is it worth ringing the OB? I never reported it stolen cos it seems pointless.Think Ill leave it a day and go up there with some HD bolt cutters

Go and hire a Spiderman costume, wait around and then scare the fuck out of them when they come out.

Helps if you learn some ninja moves first though.

in all seriousness, dont bikes have a code stamped on the bottom of the frame. if thats the case, surely you can easily prove its yours.

Go and get it now while it's there and get the cunt to unlock it for you.

If he's at work you can threaten him with the old bill there and then and tell him it's got a UV code on the underside of the frame.

My mate had his bike nicked at uni. He's locked it up outside my other mate's house and we'd got back from the pub and it was still there. After a few pro evo tourneys we decided to leave...but the bike was gone.

So given up the bike, we were walking back home at 5am and saw some pikeys riding bikes up the opposite way. Seconds later he was dashing off shouting "that's my bike!". He caught the pikey fucker up and threw him off and got it back.

It was very random and funny at the time.

Get them to put a call over the Tesco tannoy that somebodies bike is being nicked, as he comes running out - beat the shite out of him. Then drag him to the police and said he stole your bike a while back, and as you tried to re-obtain it he resisted

There is no way that anything other than vigilante justice is the way to go here.

My brother and the guy who worked for him (a kick boxer and unit) were working on a house.  They didnt have stairs in the place as were replacing them.  They left there tools upstairs and when they came back teh next day the place had been robbed.  Few days later they went to teh shops for some food and discovered their ladder on a house.  At the top of it was a bloke working with my brothers drill.  15 minutes later they left the site with all the tools on their van....

unit? I'm so hoping that you meant Eunuch. That would make the most random vigilante super hero ever.

I want to write a film which is sort of a cross between x-men and fight club, a group of vigilante people, although they aren't superhero mutants. Instead, it's a group of lonely men with varying amounts of emotional baggage / fucked-up-ness. There's more than enough character inspiration on the tef.

The person who nicked it probably sold it on to be honest. So whoever "owned" the bike until now has probably lost out unfairly!!

But that's not your problem Yeovil! Well done!

I remember reading a story about a bloke who knicked a bike in the States ages ago. The guy he knicked it from saw him, went after him and the bloke on the bike was hit by a car and killed. The family of the thief pressed charges on the guy who was rightfully trying to get his own bike back, and he was charged for it and is probably still doing time.
