english literature. blake's songs of innocence and of experience and miller's death of a salesman.

i hate exams, fucking stupid way of assessing achievement

Right....well if you know what the books are I suppose that's half the battle.  Think it would be more fun if you were examined on the random chance you may have read some book from E Lit.   So would have had to have read as widely as possible rather than narrowly.

i like the books. never been keen on poetry - probably because of the horrendous stuff we had to study at gcse and an ex's love of plath - but i do enjoy blake, i will try to read some more of him over the summer.

miller is just ace. must get the crucible as well.

education is about achieving targets and not learning, which is a shame, so i'm not stressing myself  out at all over exams.

If education was about learning,  governments wouldn't pour so much money into it.

I was a little bit gutted I never did BM. You can blag your way through management modules hell of a lot easier than some of the other stuff.

I'd like to take that for you please? I have no actual qualifications in marketing, unless diplomas count.

I absolutely love all aspects of marketing, it's my true love. Yes, i'm sad. 99% of what i read is various forms of marketing. I'd probably fail though, so scrap that.

:Pointless post to try and blow a trumpet i own smiley:  :|

aye you can blag most of it because business is all common sense - you just need to know the fancy words to describe it all. completely pointless to study though.

the marketing exam went alright and all of the other students hated it so i think i've done okay.

strategic management on tuesday now, the worst of the lot. i shouldnt be in the library on a saturday, might do down to the pub to catch the second half of the rovers match in a bit

tell me about it! they say life gets quicker every year!?

seems like only the other day i was a whippersnapper of a fresher, i'd like to do it all again but i think all the kids would annoy me, i'm a bit past first year 'crazy' antics by now
