Pizza is Pizza and unless I have a flash of insparation, then I'm not sure I can improve it past the wide range of varieties already available.

Title: Death Chicken Post by: Ralphy on Monday, May 21, 2007, 00:09:18 Ben, when i do an authentic Texan chili, i use red wine instead of water for the stock and fresh Scotch Bonnet Chili's. They are mega hot and would be ace in a death recipe.
Title: Death Chicken Post by: flammableBen on Monday, May 21, 2007, 00:15:38 Death recipes aren't particularly hot. But that does sound like good chilli.

Title: Death Chicken Post by: mattboyslim on Monday, May 21, 2007, 14:25:43 It was a fair few years ago, but on a geography field trip after wading about in a river we stopped at ciren for lunch - this truckers cafe called greasy joes was offering murder burgers, as I remember it was a couple of burgers, cheese, bacon, sausage, tomato and lettuce a pinapple ring, it was so high I couldn't get it in mymouth without disambling it. If Batch can elaborate further I'd be most happy.
Title: Death Chicken Post by: Samdy Gray on Monday, May 21, 2007, 14:26:05 My Dad's ex-wife used to go to Ciren every Saturday for a Murder Burger after a night out on the piss.

Can you share with us? Of course I know of the murder burger. I was brought up in Ciren and my mum lives Joes side of town (aka the dodgy bit). Back in '90-91 when I was nearly 18 is when the drinking started at the pubs, and after pub eating at Greasy's. Greasy Joe's used to be open 24/7 back then, at first they had a caravan in London Road (can't remember that), then moved to the lorry park with a static caravan then a small building (inside was truckers only) and then the small shack they have today open for all. Old man "Joe" was always sat in the corner in his funny hat smiling at people. Then old man Joe died and gradually Lloyd (son of Joe) ramped down the hours. I think they shut at 5 now. Surprised it's still going with McDonalds right next door. Anyway I digress. Jesus, it's been a while. And nobody tackles a murder burger sober...but from memory - burger, sausage (2), egg, bacon, fried bread, pinapple, lettuce. If you were really peckish then a side of cheese, chip and beans (optional) is the preferred accompaniment (I jest of course). Chances are, if you can find them open, and Lloyd is serving, maybe you can buy,... a murder burger (tm) edit: PS - FB - so death burgers are like normal burgers, but raw. I guess there is a good chance they do what they say on the tin. Title: Death Chicken Post by: jayohaitchenn on Friday, May 25, 2007, 08:57:47 What about making a really subtle dish?
