Title: Glenn Roeder Post by: Iffy's Onion Bhaji on Sunday, May 6, 2007, 17:13:37 hardly surprising. Sven heading north?

Title: Glenn Roeder Post by: Iffy's Onion Bhaji on Sunday, May 6, 2007, 17:23:28 yes quite possible
Title: Glenn Roeder Post by: Scot Munroe on Sunday, May 6, 2007, 17:25:10 Maybe. He was offered the job after Souness got sacked. To be fair with all the injuries the toon have had, Roeder has done a good job.
Title: Glenn Roeder Post by: Bogus Dave on Sunday, May 6, 2007, 17:27:57 On 5live the other day allardyce was seen leaving shearers bar with freddie sheppard. Sounds a done deal if true

Title: Glenn Roeder Post by: Summerof69 on Sunday, May 6, 2007, 21:10:58 The job is a posoned chalice with Freddie Shepherd around.
Title: Glenn Roeder Post by: Devon Red on Monday, May 7, 2007, 00:18:17 All seems to be fitting into place now. I think he'd do a good job at Newcastle with the financial backing they always seem to give new managers and with some of the players he already has there. That is if he gets the job of course
Title: Glenn Roeder Post by: Red81 on Monday, May 7, 2007, 00:23:55 Its set up nicely... People in the media banging on about how they don't understand why he's left Bolton. Lets face it, they're never gonna be a contender for bigger things. He's taken them as far as they can go. It was like getting blood out of stone with the board when he signed Anelka. Without the money backing for bigger players, no chance at taking out the big guns... Newcastle on the other hand? Are we gonna see the glory days of Shearer back?
Title: Glenn Roeder Post by: Chubbs on Monday, May 7, 2007, 00:56:44 the thing with roeder is that he is too nice, the players need a kick up the back side and glen never did that, you never saw him angry, he had not emotions, not the making of a manager, and im glad to see him go.

Earlier in the season they showed a mock up of the injured starting 11 and put it next to the one he had to play. It was ridiculous. I know injuries are part and parcel but they have been dealt a poor hand this season.... unlucky Roeder...
