A good day out. We didn't play very well but performances don't matter at this time in the season. If I was offered the chance of having a 3 point lead over MK at the beginning of the day I'd have taken it, never thought they would slip up at home to Grimsby.

Poor performance but we ground out a point and it keeps our mini run going. Three points on Monday and it will have been a very good Easter. You don't have to be very good to win promotion from this league.

A game of two halfs really. We played okay. Hereford weren't actually a bad team. Defensively very good. Outstanding away support as ever. Shame we did'nt win but nevermind! Atleast dons lost!! Yoooooo reds

fuck me. that was probably THE most boring game i have ever seen. It says alot when a certain Mr. Pook has your best chance of the match.

We hussled and bustled in the second half, but had no end result, the corr-lukas partnership never really got going, and grimes looked annonymous when he came on. First half though, hereford were all over us, and could of scored 2 or 3 goals, if it wasn't for superb saves/headers off the line.

Funniest moment was this old bloke stood next to me going mental when it flashed up that MK were 2 down. It was all silent, and all of a sudden he just lets out a massive "YYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSS" :soapy tit wank:

The match was shocking, Pook was a passenger and I don't like Westwood, he doesn't win enough in the air. We just don't create many chances from open play.
Only good point today was there player getting sent off....pure stupidity, to react at our songs and then carry on arguing is daft to say the least. Edgar street was a dive and never want to play them again

Was abit surprised zaaboub was taken off, he looked one of our most dangerous players i thought. Roberts tends to run into people, or leave the ball behind him when hes runnning, but its either him or shakes i suppose

What a dump of a ground with shocking facilities . The 2 stewards behind the goal were overzealous  t**ts wading in every time anyone climbed on the  fencing separating the 2 halfs of the away end. How did there away end pass Football League safety inspection - no safety barriers, just shitty breeze block walls, even Chippenham Town have better than that

We were lucky to go in at half time 0-0 - Smith made 2 good saves & failed to threaten. Zabooub was anonymous in the 2nd half & Roberts kept cutting inside all the time. The referee was a "homer" overuling the linesman 2 or 3 times & failing to spot the Bulls keeper deliberately sitting on Juke box in the first half. Pleased with a point though in light of the other results - would definitely play Timlin who made an instant impact when introduced, whilst Peacock touch & speed of thought let him down today

Here's my alternative matchday review.

I didn't see much of the game, too many pillars, stupid stewards who stood up in front of me, then I got kicked out. Hereford town centre is quite pleasant and it was a nice sunny day for a stroll and sit and read the paper in the sunshine.

The pubs were good. My beef and stilton baguette was lovely.

Changed my mind on reflection. Goalkeeper Smith deserves MOM for keeping us in the game first half with a number of fine saves.

Pook was best of the outfielders.  Worked his socks off breaking them down in midfield, with no help from Roberts and Zaaboub. Goal saving header off the line.

thought Vincent and Westwood were solid at the back mind, didnt miss Ifil as much as I expected.

The view was terrible! Although the large volumes of alcohol consumed didnt help matters either!

Are they fucking joking? I heard them once or twice throughout the whole game. TBH the shit design of the ground means the noise didn't carry anyway.

I could only hear the Town fans from outside the ground, didn't hear a peep from the locals.

I was stood in the floors 2 go by the half way line and I couldnt hear either end to be honest.

I could see the Swindon fans clapping and chanting...but still couldnt hear. Crap ground for atmosphere

Sonic, Ive heard a slightly different version of accounts of when you got chucked out. My brother was telling me about how a fan was moaning at the coppers constantly about something. My brother said he told you to be careful cos he got chucked out for similar and then you said something else and got chucked out. Don't remember anyone talking to me, I wasn't moaning or even shouting at the coppers - I was trying to stop Dex from getting thrown out and was attempting to talk to the steward who threatened to throw Dex out, he said "move away" and I replied "are you talking to me?" as he was looking in a totally different direction, I wasn't trying to be cheeky or anything.

All I was trying to do was talk to the stewards and the police, I wasn't arguing with them or abusing them. Perhaps I crossed a line that I wasn't supposed to do but I'm convinced in my own mind that I was being entirely reasonable and polite.

Unless I said or did something that I've forgotten, that's what happened...not exactly crime of the century either way, is it?
