Title: Footy Manger Post by: Johno on Friday, March 11, 2005, 20:52:33 anyone got any tips for players for the championship, im doing crud!
Title: Footy Manger Post by: Simon Pieman on Friday, March 11, 2005, 20:56:00 i did crud in my first season in the championship. finished 20th though. get leandre griffit on loan from So'ton. as an attacking central midfielder, he scored more goals than each of my strikers. i got eric joly as a defensive midfielder, who isnt bad, better than what i had, but i only had a transfer budget of 110k.
starting afresh now though, after my game file wouldn't load Title: Footy Manger Post by: Simon Pieman on Sunday, March 13, 2005, 14:18:15 16 games gone and in 3rd. 4 points off the top after a bit of a stutter for 4 games on the trot (sounds familiar). I really need to sort out my coaches/training though, it really does make all the difference

It really does, the stats go up much better if you do it yourself. It can be a pain checking for injuries and stuff though, and changing it to/from resting etc. Other than that, you can create more specialist training for defenders/strikers etc. which seems to boost the more necessary stats Title: Footy Manger Post by: oxford_fan on Sunday, March 13, 2005, 14:44:17 Quote from: "simon pieman" Quote from: "oxford_fan" Quote from: "simon pieman" I really need to sort out my coaches/training though, it really does make all the difference does it? i just left my assistant to do it.for some reason all my training files went, along with that game ifile i lost.
