Ash,

Not sure if you know anything about this but do you know how much it cost to re-connect utlilities, gas water and electric,  into a property?

Cheers mate.

If you have bought it from a reposession then its usually free, really depends on the history.  Best bet is to ring your existing suppliers if you are buying a repo and explain.  If they value your custom they will do it.

My house was all cut off but had it reconnected for free

Not sure, Mrs organised it all. The estate agents apparently said all utlilities have been cut off, hence why we're going to view this pm. Before it gets dark.

Any suggestions? Cheap as poss. Ground floor, stairs and landing. Don't really want to spend more than a grand on it all.
