Can't beat lemon and sugar IMO.
Although I'm going out for a meal tonight so I doubt I'll have a chance to have pancakes :(

Shrove is a past tense of the verb to shrive.....which means to give absolution to after confession.....those who have been shrived are therefore shriven......so I suppose Shrivenham is a settlement for the shriven.

Tomorrow Bushey Boy gets a day all to himself....Ash Wednesday.

Lemon and sugar is the best, followed by Nutella with vanilla ice cream.

TBF Larwood using a batter mix is taking it a bit far seeing is all it is anyway is flour and milk, with an egg lobbed in, which isn't exactly taxing.

True, but the batter mix only cost 26 pence  i brought a fresh lemon though  :) just didn't have many pancakes to put the juice on.
