Title: Isle Of Wight festival Post by: Reg Smeeton on Tuesday, February 20, 2007, 11:59:39 You shouldn't worry too much about camping....at a good festival you keep going until you drop, then just find somewhere to kip.
At the IoW festival of 1970.....I kipped on a putting green of a golf course...very comfortable. The 70 line up.... Joan Baez Chicago Leonard Cohen Miles Davis Donovan The Doors Emerson Lake and Palmer Family Free Richie Havens Hawkwind Jimi Hendrix Jethro Tull Kris Kristofferson Moody Blues Procol Harum Pink Fairies Taste. Ten Years After Supertramp Joni Mitchell John Sebastian Sly & The Family Stone The Who Plus a few more that time has forgotten Title: Isle Of Wight festival Post by: STFCBird on Tuesday, February 20, 2007, 12:03:58 Quote from: "Reg Smeeton" Kris Kristofferson Did he sing Convoy? Supertramp also had Swindon boy Rick Davies who played keyboards. His mum lived in eastcott Hill and if you looked through the living room window you could see all the platinum discs etc on the wall.
