I don't blame Foxton and Buckler, I think they feel they were shafted somewhat by Weller and want to do some serious cashing in. There's still a huge audience who will go and see them so I am sure they will do well. Personally though, I prefer to remember them how they were. i.e angry young men, not ageing rock stars desperate for a few quid. Thank God Weller will never get involved. i used to work for weller around the time of stanley road/wildwood, we all crashed at his flat one night and were talking shite until the early hours. asked him about reforming the jam and he basically said he would never do it in a million years. woke up in the morning and bought a paper from the local shop. headline on entertainment page JAM TO REFORM. twats. |
