I feel that the way that the board is now trying to integrate themselves with the supporters through email is a great development to aid board - fan relations. email that address and say you wish to opt out of usinf your information for all marketing purposes. If you read the terms of use on premium tv, they can pass your info onto the club, but in this case I would say this is marketing and if you want to opt out then you can avoid stuff like this in the future, if you're really that bothered.
