Me and the missus have just been for a run, well I say that but we actually only managed 500 yards. Got halfway down Redcliffe Street and the missus goes sprawling accross the pavement, her leg had fallen down an open manhole cover. Her leg's all bruised, she's cut her other leg and has badly grazed her hand. But what pisses me off the most is SBC must have known about it because someone put a solitary orange warning cone, INSIDE the manhole. What the fuck??? No barriers or boards over the whole, just a cone chucked in it. Luckily it's just a few bruises which'll heal, but she could have broken her leg or worse. I'm so fucking mad!!!!! Rant over. My gf's nephew sued the council as he was riding his bike home from school and came off due to some sort of dodgy piece of pavement, he broke his collarbone. They went straight down to the area to take pictures of the path and the next day the council fixed the problem, luckily for them they had pictures as evidence and he got a nice payment.
