There are loads of pubs on Barnet high street as well. Be warned about the tube though. Its the old northern line which is deadly slow. Plus a bad change at Kings Cross. Trains back into London between 4 and 7 are not on the peak rate. You can get to London and back for £12 if you get a group saver for 4 and split the ticket at Didcot.
