I suppose if Home 'A' wins it would be better to have the same design for the Away aswell?

I like D.Although whatever choice we go with won't bother me as i won't be buying it.Football shirts make me look fat and people start to call me 'mate' because i look like a man in them :(  :oops:

They're all very German/Dutch looking.

Unimpressed tbh.

The kit with the 'arrows' is a bit flashy and the other one looks dated.

Why can we just have a plain red home shirt, with a bit of white on the sleeve edges and reverse it for the away shirt?

Having said that, I'll still be buying them...................

I'll bet anyone that the strip we'll be wearing next season will be the one with the arrows.

Just look at the pictures. Is it me, or does it look like they're displayed larger and with more detail?

Ukraine shirt = good!  IMHO, prefer Gazza's designs from a few days ago with the white shorts.  Notice a lack of badge, this suggests a pleasant return to the old crest perhaps?

Title: New Kit Choice.
Post by: STFC_Gazza on Friday, January 19, 2007, 09:31:03
Notice the missing badge, was this deliberate. there is also no green on the kits when this was brought back this season. Could the club be bringing back the old badge? Would look ace on these kits!

Love the retro one, looks like england '82 style design.  As for the'ukraine' one, not so sure - perhaps we should all vote for home in on style and away in the other...

Both are pretty crap to be honest. Not much choice is there. Would've been nice if they came up with something new rather than re-working the world cup designs. I hope they get the red right this time or we'll end up with...

Post by: herthab on Friday, January 19, 2007, 10:50:17
If they go for the 'skinny' fit design, they'll have the same problem as Spurs had a few seasons ago.

Replica kit sales plummeted.

That's cos there's a lot of fans built like Gazza :D

Title: New Kit Choice.
Post by: Rich Pullen on Friday, January 19, 2007, 11:18:35
I'd rather have cheap plain than the cheap imitation of the Ukraine or Serbia kit. The "arrows" are hideous and have no place in football. Unless they're designed to make you go faster  :D

Home A

Away B

In my opinion... But shoddy options.

Amen. It's football not "fashion".

Oh and it looks like it's been has designed by a child who's won a competition.

Other option is poor but I won't be buying a kit with Racing Stripes on it... But I will be a minority there, probably.

Those arrows really aren't going to do the bitch tits and belly brigade much of a favour especially if they’re slim-fit fetish wear lycra.  May as grow the handlebar tache and cut peep holes for your hairy saucers to poke out.

Who was it that said the other one looked like a rugby top?  Spot on, next we know the players will be fisting themselves and buggering 12 year old boys and call it character building.

We used to at least get a choice of three that were a little assorted even if that did lead up to that Duracell black and gold monstrosity a few years back.  I feel like a cunt for whinging now, feels like all we do is whinge nowadays but I am right aren’t I, has to be the worst selection since this voting malarkey kicked off?

Home A / Away B.

It looks like a bad attempt at retro but it's alright. If they are skinny fit I'm going to be going on a murderous rampage...

If anyone else is interested, Lotto do kits for the following clubs/nations...

    * ACF Fiorentina
    * U.S. Città di Palermo
    * Udinese Calcio
    * Real Zaragoza
    * Toulouse FC
    * FSV Mainz 05
    * FC Sochaux
    * NEC Nijmegen
    * Olympiakos Nicosia
    * Omonia Nicosia
    * Enosis Neon Paralimni FC
    * F.B.C. Melgar
    * Clyde FC
    * NEC Harlequins
    * Pogoń Szczecin
    * Arka Gdynia
    * Al Ain FC
    * PUMAS
    * Ukraine
    * Panama
    * Colombia

Why can't we have a kit like Fiorentina?

IMHO They are the best selection at least since the last strikeforce kit.  Last seasons kit was terrible, way too much white, and one of the choices at the time had loads black on it.  This seasons is OK, but over fussy and too green for my liking.  The new ones are red and white, thats the main thing, no toehr colours, white shorts on the 'stripey' one would make it the nicest kit in years I think.

I can see a theme here, not particularly imaginative is it?

As shit as the kits are, in the grand scale of things it doesn't really matter...it's only one season after all.

The Fiorentina 3rd shirt would have been OK for our home one (obviously with our badge etc)

Personally I will be quite happy with the two shirts with pointed arrow things on. I like that design a lot. I guess you will never please everybody!

The retro style one is crap - Looks a tad like the Charlton Athletic kit (i.e. shit)
The other option isnt too bad - Atleast it's modern.

But B & C aren't exactly typical domestic football shirt designs, are they?

They look like something Hull City might I've tried in the 1990's.

A and D look like shirts you see in the European leagues... Doesn't really look like a rugay shirt.
