Arrogant fool or complete genius?

Im no Chelsea fan and to start with I hated the bloke but I have been swayed by his funny after match interviews and blind arrogance.The game needs characters like him I get fed up with hearing the same things from boring "robot" managers.he's the new Cloughie.

One of my favourite managers in the game today and one of the best, Always entertaining, makes a change from boring squabbles between Wenger and Ferguson. Legend.

i heard that he makes computer presentations, with clips of recent games, analysing his opponents. he tells each player what to watch out for and how to beat particular people. if you ask me that's incredibly in depth and he is moving the managerial game forward. little wonder he's arrogant

He has every reason to be arrogant, and good on him.

Class, loved him since I first heard about him during last seasons' champions league when fergie refused to shake his hand after a match. and him running down the OT touch-line to celebrate with his team after the goal.

why? im not disputing jose being a good manager. i think he is a brill manager but would he really be able to take a team like us up from league 1 to the premiership on a limited budget with free transfers?

I think Jose would do well in this league, any league in fact, he's just a great manager. Most of the other premiership managers would probably be pretty useless or at best average though.

Mourinho is the best thing that's happened to the premiership since we won promotion into it.

Not sure about getting us to the premiership, but I'm confident we'd be involved in the auto promotion race now rather than the play off race with Mourinho in charge

Under JM we would be top - no doubt. Fergie would give the players a good kick up the arse but wouldn't be the sort of manager to trawl around for 'bargains'. Wenger wouldn't be able to sort out defence either i don't think.

If Chelsea do start winning things then they'll become the team all the kids and the glory hunters tag onto and they will become as hated as Man Utd anyway.

I was in a pub in Cardiff just down the road from the millenium stadium which was absolutely packed with Liverpool fans and they were furious with Mourinho, practically throwing stuff at the tv and shouting abuse at him, it was great. :D I was trying not to laugh, didn't manage it though.

we haven't been involved in the game, we don't know the inner workings of a football club. JM does, and he must know a lot because Chelski are in a league of their own at the moment. Fair enough, the arrogance is not just if they were 2nd and 9 points off the top spot, but at the moment that's not happening. I'd prefer a manager to be arrogant than over-chew gum whilst whinging the referee didn't give you those 6 dodgy penalties to the media
