Title: Smoothies Post by: Sippo on Wednesday, January 17, 2007, 14:14:34 Right, I'm on bit of a Health regime.... :fag:
I need a good smoothie maker (or Blender) and some receipes. Any idea's anyone. Title: Smoothies Post by: red macca on Wednesday, January 17, 2007, 14:16:11 Get a proper juicer much nicer.
I got my smoothy maker and my juicer for the total of £40 Title: Smoothies Post by: yeo on Wednesday, January 17, 2007, 14:17:09 Any old blender will do the job perectly.
Title: Smoothies Post by: herthab on Wednesday, January 17, 2007, 14:21:34 Just eat fruit.
Smoothies...................................Gay. Title: Smoothies Post by: yeo on Wednesday, January 17, 2007, 14:22:49 Ahh but fruit is a bit boring you can wack your 5 a day down your neck in 10 seconds with a smoothie then have a bacon sarnie
Title: Smoothies Post by: The_Plagiarist on Wednesday, January 17, 2007, 14:24:59 Correct from der mann von berlin. Fruit is bang on. And you don't have to fuck about with a £40 bit of kit either, just use your teeth to mash the fruit up before you swallow it. Smooth.
Title: Smoothies Post by: herthab on Wednesday, January 17, 2007, 14:25:09 Good point Yeovil!
If you blend your bacon sarnie you'll save even more time! :) Title: Smoothies Post by: yeo on Wednesday, January 17, 2007, 14:27:03 Your right blend the whole days meals and drink them all in the morning as a Space 1999 style food supplement 8)
Title: Smoothies Post by: Jamiesfuturewife on Wednesday, January 17, 2007, 14:45:57 If you buy a smoothie maker you should get a recipe book with it?
Title: Smoothies Post by: The_Plagiarist on Wednesday, January 17, 2007, 15:00:28 or alternatively, you could eat fruit. I made up some grrrrreat recipes...
such as: An apple. Eat. Peel a banana, eat it. Eat an apple. Peel an orange and eat it. The great thing about this system is you're flexible to make your own order up!! sometimes I might even eat TWO ORANGES. IN A ROW!!! Title: Smoothies Post by: my-velocity on Wednesday, January 17, 2007, 15:01:36 Magic Bullet does smoothies and loads more.

Title: Smoothies Post by: hansgruber on Wednesday, January 17, 2007, 18:15:07 I've got a Kenwood smoothie maker, with a funky dispensing tap and everything. It's ace. You can't go wrong really - just whack in fruit you like and play around with proportions until you're happy.
My favourite is a peach slices in grape juice (tin), banana (x2) and ice-cube concoction. Strawberries are also mega-ace. How much d'ya want for it? He's clearly converted it into a bong, judging from the typing. It will be worth much more than that now. Title: Smoothies Post by: Bushey Boy on Wednesday, January 17, 2007, 22:33:18 ha, was typing while on the phone as usual! I emailed her and she wants it back. I paid for it....mmmmmmm
Title: Smoothies Post by: Dazzza on Wednesday, January 17, 2007, 22:38:22 Tescos own, quality plus you don't end up with a machine that you'll use for two months and stick in the back of a cupboard.
Better with vodka in mind. Title: Smoothies Post by: Luci on Wednesday, January 17, 2007, 22:39:00 http://www.boostjuicebars.com/store/page.pl?id=528
Try this Chris. They have these bars all over Australia and they make the best smoothies, fruit shakes etc. ever! Got whats in them on the menu section. Title: Smoothies Post by: Dazzza on Wednesday, January 17, 2007, 23:17:50 Have you had 'chicken salt' on your chips in Oz yet lady? Bit like the orange coloured spicey salt that only seems to be in Ull.
All about the pies though they're fucking magnificent out there. Steak & egg. 8) Title: Smoothies Post by: Fred Elliot on Wednesday, January 17, 2007, 23:23:16 Worked in ULL for 9 years Daz
Chip spice is LUSH FACT ! Title: Smoothies Post by: Dazzza on Wednesday, January 17, 2007, 23:29:21 When did you leave Fred? I was only there for a few months at Kingston.
I can still remember that club spiders and the first Monday of the month meant the whole town went out and got pissed up in school uniform. Title: Smoothies Post by: Fred Elliot on Wednesday, January 17, 2007, 23:33:46 I started off living in the Royal Hotel above the train station then after about 2 yrs moved to the Portland Hotel.
The back of the Portland Hotel overlooked the KC building IIRC. Used to have some great nights at L.A.'s etc Was there from 93 to 02 mate Title: Smoothies Post by: Simon Pieman on Wednesday, January 17, 2007, 23:35:17 I recommend a good scrumpy cider. All the health benefits of apples and it gets you pissed.

A couple of my mates go to uni there, so group of us stayed over theirs one night. Originally we were going to some place next to a cinema complex thing (can't remember what it was called, but I think it was 2 clubs combined), but one of the girls we were with was barred so we decided to go elsewhere (bad decision, should have just gone in without her), then we went somewhere else that my mate recommended - which we couldn't get in because it was hired for a private party, so somehow we ended up in this Reflex place. It was awful. If I remember rightly, I think I fell asleep in a chair at one point
Title: Smoothies Post by: Fred Elliot on Thursday, January 18, 2007, 00:36:08 You were too pissed to appreciate it Rossi
I did my degree when I was there Hull uni birds are fit as fuck Title: Smoothies Post by: Rossi on Thursday, January 18, 2007, 00:46:25 Quote from: "Fred Elliot" You were too pissed to appreciate it Rossi Not too sure about that, I just looked through my texts from that night and I text someone saying that they were playing the hockie cockie song, then they went on to play the Nelly the Elephant song in there. I'm sorry but you have to be absolutely hammered to even think about appreciating the Nelly the elephant song being played in a club, let alone being sober. It's disgusting! Title: Smoothies Post by: Fred Elliot on Thursday, January 18, 2007, 00:49:27 When were you there mate ?

Title: Smoothies Post by: Mexicano Rojo on Thursday, January 18, 2007, 08:55:15 there was a great bar in birmingham in the eighties, the landlord had been running it for 25 years, the brewery in their infinate wisdom in about 1988 told him they had to turn it into a flares and that he and all the staff had to wear seventies gear.
on the opening night the landlord was found hanging from the bar. i fucking hate theme bars.
