Can't see why not, you might need to put them in the airing cupboard or something as be a bit cold on the windowsill. Even near a radiator as they need light don't they?

OK the ones you have mentioned will go down a treat

Dont forget the rosemary to chuck in with your roasters.

Salmon omlette with Dill chucked in at he last minute is lush.

They should all grow quite happily inside on a south facing sill, just dont pot them too big.

Mint has a habit of running away on itself (a bit like rhubarb), dont forget the larger the plant the less the flavour mate

In my experience of watching my mum try and grow herbs they seem to need a fair amoutn of TLC, and tend to die at the merest provocation, that said some nice rosemary and lemon thyme are absolutely delicious.

Whack em in the window box Yeovil, mark where youve put what,
and thin them out when they germinate.

Keep the compost moist, but dont over water.

Should work a treat.

If you have a smallish garden YR then herbs are a good thing to grow......growing stuff from seeds is good fun but does take a bit of effort, but is cheap, you can get one of those cold frame things to bring them on as the weather warms.

I've had odd times when I've got quite keen about growing stuff....including weed,  but then other times when I can't be arsed....now is such a time.

We sow the seed,
Nature grows the seed,

We sow the seed,.....

Get yourself a Photobucket (www.photobucket.com) account.

Once you're all signed up, you can upload your pictures, should be simple enough for you to figure out yourself. There's normally a huge big box with a 'browse' button.

Once your pictures are up on Photobucket, it'll show a thumbnail of them with three boxes underneath. Top one is the url of the picture, next one is a HTML tag, bottom one is the IMG tag. Copy the IMG tag. Should be something like:

Code:
[IMG]http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i151/yourusername/picturename.jpg[/IMG]

Just paste that code onto the forum here. It's that easy.
