Title: Palace Post by: Simon Pieman on Wednesday, January 3, 2007, 16:37:56 I'm thinking of getting the train there. Seems cheap enough, just might be a pain in the arse with the changes (and maybe bus between Swindon and Reading). I haven't got match tickets yet though.

Was in south London somewhere, and a tree fell on the line. Sat in the train for about three hours without moving, and then came home ! Title: Palace Post by: Simon Pieman on Wednesday, January 3, 2007, 16:50:22 That can happen anywhere though. Trains are a bit shite. So are Dangerfields minibuses though.

To be honest we could do with numbers like that at League Two matches Title: Palace Post by: Spud on Thursday, January 4, 2007, 15:28:50 Quote from: "mattboyslim" Quote from: "lambourn red" Over 1700 tickets already sold so could be 2500 on the day impressive turn out for FA cup game. http://www.swindontownfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/NewsDetail/0,,10341~959855,00.html Makes me a bit sad when we take huge numbers to Palace, not exactly a glammer tie, I guess it shows how far we've fallen. Of course it shows how far we've fallen although you could say Palace have been in and around the fringes of the Premiership so of course people are going to want to go. Title: Palace Post by: Bushey Boy on Thursday, January 4, 2007, 15:29:58 I just want a day out in london!

I guess I'm comparing it with 'attractive' games in our league, which ultimaely really count. Obviously a top prem team is hugely attractive but from my perspective when the draw was made it was the worst kind, a team that should (but hopefully won't) beat us, but with little money to be made.
