I'm thinking of getting the train there. Seems cheap enough, just might be a pain in the arse with the changes (and maybe bus between Swindon and Reading). I haven't got match tickets yet though.

I went to Palace once by train.
Was in south London somewhere, and a tree fell on the line.
Sat in the train for about three hours without moving, and then came home !

That can happen anywhere though. Trains are a bit shite. So are Dangerfields minibuses though.

SAS for me!
About 10 coaches going now.

Dull, boring, but it ges you there and back in reasonable time and doesn't cost too much

They're fully booked now.

Maybe they'll put a roof rack on one of them for you?

Over 1700 tickets already sold so could be 2500 on the day impressive turn out for FA cup game.

Makes me a bit sad when we take huge numbers to Palace, not exactly a glammer tie, I guess it shows how far we've fallen.  To be honest we could do with numbers like that at League Two matches

Yes cos Accrington Away is so appealing.

Of course it shows how far we've fallen although you could say Palace have been in and around the fringes of the Premiership so of course people are going to want to go.

I guess I'm comparing it with 'attractive' games in our league, which ultimaely really count.  Obviously a top prem team is hugely attractive but from my perspective when the draw was made it was the worst kind, a team that should (but hopefully won't) beat us, but with little money to be made.
