sounds about right, i pre-ordered mine from game - they're a bunch of fucking amateurs!

you'd have had to pre-order sooner than 23rd of nov to be guaranteed one.
i played on my mates, its a good concept but i can see it losing its credibility very soon,
by streotype video games are lazy, and after a few weeks of waving your arms franticly will get boring and wil take up too much energy.

i played madden 2007 and one in the swing of things its a great game but again i cant see the wii going too far.

It all depends on the games they bring out for it. I haven't played on the Wii but I think the package of games that has come out for it will be good enough reason to buy it. I somewhat doubt the console's ability to attract enough high quality games to keep the interest up, especially after the PS3 is released. I hope I am wrong, as the console market hasn't been this exciting in a while.

I think the Wii depends on how games Nintendo make for it themselves.

We all know full well Nintendo are boss when it comes to making games, the Mario & Zelda series have always been the most playable games with the best longevity.

Where as everyone just wants to make their games look pretty but they play shit.

I played gears of war on xbox360 for a bit last week. Looked ace, really shit I thought and got bored quickly

Mario isn't the same in 3D though. A new Mario Kart would be good with them controllers though.

mario sunshine was shit to start off with but i soon got really hooked on it! mario kart is the one for me though, once that bad boy gets rolled out on wii then that will be the end of my life, goodbye swindon town...

It'll be interesting to see how the control system on the Wii Mario Kart will work, I guess it'll be similar to the Wii Play cow racing game where you hole the wand like a nes controller but tilt it forward to accelerate, left and right to turn and lift it to jump.

I was just trying to work out how they'd get enough buttons, but having actually thought about it you'd only really need the throw your weapon button.

The think I'd want most from a new Mario Kart would be to have the battle mode as fun as it was on the Snes effort. The battle modes on the newer ones haven't been fun at all.

I pre ordered one early October but stupidly cancelled it the other week as i didnt think i would have the money to get one.
