Title: If Wise goes
Post by: STFC Bart on Monday, October 23, 2006, 08:48:26
The board are to blame. He said himself last week that he was mystified as to the £750k overspend, which suggests to me he has lost confidence in those now running the club

I disagree, i blame you and your continued determination to unsettle everybody and everything.

Self-fulfilling prophecy?

Its fair to say the board have not covered themselves in glory.

However whos to say he wouldnt have gone anyway? That clause is there because he wanted it.

Guys this was always on the cards as soon as Power walked.

Wisey would stay and start from the bottom- but it  is plain he too has lost confidence in the management at the club as well by his comments last week

This is a pivital point in our history.....some may say its a self fulfilling prophecy, but there can be no doubt that the current Board and its advisor, are capable of getting us dragged further into a downward spiral.

The next appointment is crucial.....there are some decent managers around at the moment, but the Board will doubtless go for the cheapest option....hopefully Wise takes all his backroom staff with him, so as to ensure the Board are not tempted by Tuttle or Lee.

All precedence points to an internal,m which will be a disaster as it always has been.

Not as bad as 1990 Reg. When that all happened I just led on the floor for three days totally unable to move - And it wasn't a hangover either!

I'm far from happy.

But STFC is bigger than 2 men.
