Title: Hungerford v Weymouth Post by: DerbyRed on Monday, October 16, 2006, 13:00:57 Dilema - my home town have been drawn at home to 3rd in the Conference, Weymouth, in the 4th qualifying round of the FA Cup - by far the biggest game for the club since I've been alive!
Now, the game is on the same day that Town play Lincoln - big game obviously - so do I miss a once in a lifetime opportunity and cheer on Swindon as usual, or support my home town team and miss Swindon beat Lincoln? Your thoughts??? Title: Hungerford v Weymouth Post by: herthab on Monday, October 16, 2006, 13:04:43 Swindon. Definitely. Weymouth will win and Swindon will win. And, if you go to Hungerford you'll be pissed off X 2!!
Title: Hungerford v Weymouth Post by: Piemonte on Monday, October 16, 2006, 13:05:49 Swindon, obviously. who cares about non-league crap?

Title: Hungerford v Weymouth Post by: Batch on Monday, October 16, 2006, 16:37:11 If my home town (Ciren) were playing Chelsea I'd still go to Swindon v Lincoln.
Os the question is are you a Swindon fan, or a Hungerford fan piggybacking on a glory club (:)) ? Title: Hungerford v Weymouth Post by: Spencer_White on Monday, October 16, 2006, 16:42:48 When Didcot got the FA Vase final I still went to Swindon V Huddersfield, the game after we had been relegated last season. Didcot was a day later, but I couldnt afford both. I guess you nail you colours to the mast. Its just the habit you cant break when you start going week in week out.
Having said that, Hungerford V Weymouth does sound like a good tie to me. Its entirely up to the individual. Nah i'd say go for it :) sounds like it could be good and i think we could be in for a struggle against Lincoln [5-0 winners away on Saturday lest we forget]. Title: Hungerford v Weymouth Post by: DerbyRed on Tuesday, October 17, 2006, 15:19:50 Sorry Miss L!!
And to be fair, it was only Barnet they beat 5-0, who didn't look great v us earlier in the season - I don't think we'll lose to them, I reckon we'll draw 2-2 with them! :| Title: Hungerford v Weymouth Post by: Johno on Tuesday, October 17, 2006, 17:50:40 if i had the choice of Calne Town in the fa cup in a later round or Swindon, i'd pick calne as it won't happen again
Title: Hungerford v Weymouth Post by: reeves4england on Tuesday, October 17, 2006, 21:24:35 I think I would probably go and watch Calne - depending no who they and Swindon were playing of course. I would choose Swindon vs Arsenal over Calne vs Chelsea, but if Swindon had some team from outside the Premiership I would be less tempted
