when i watched him play at the crucible i think it was last year he did not look very well. I also thought he would beat the cancer. But the sport of snooker lost a talent tonight. Feel really sorry for his daughter and his wife.

he would be 28 on Saturday. as said earlier his daughter was born on Boxing day and not even 1 yr old.

I don't usually go in for this sort of thing, but i'm genuinely shocked by this one.  He was a really talented chap, and a great snooker personality. Such a shame.

a big loss to Snooker. was a great player and he even had the courage to keep playing after he was diagnosed and i applaud him for that. its very sad to hear  this news. RIP

A proper loss to the game. I'll always fondly remember him for his 'Plan B' comeback in the 2004(?) masters. 'Plan B' being shagging his Mrs in the interval then coming back to win. Fair shout to the bloke.
