Title: Nightmare!!! Post by: janaage on Monday, February 14, 2005, 16:28:13 I had one early this morning, one of those dreams where you feel like you're paralyzed and no matter what you do you can't move, it was horrible. I started shouting out in my sleep according to my woke with a fright girlfriend. The problem is it's kind of ruined my day, feel like shit all day, headache, tired, I'm emotionally scarred.
Title: Nightmare!!! Post by: oxford_fan on Monday, February 14, 2005, 16:32:28 sounds like you didnt get your 'R.E.M. (Rapid Eye Movement) Sleep', although I believe this is associated with heavy dreaming.
Scientists know feck all about what our brains do when we sleep. Title: Nightmare!!! Post by: blinkpip on Monday, February 14, 2005, 17:07:47 I had that before, quite scary for few seconds.

Title: Nightmare!!! Post by: Dazzza on Monday, February 14, 2005, 17:30:35 When I was a student I occassionally got Sleep paralysis where you are fully concious but unable to move a muscle. Usually after a tremendous effort you can concentrate and shift a limb, which will usually raise you from your slumber.
Can be down to anything. Irregular sleep patterns, booze, drugs, stress lack of sleep or even too much sleep which is where I scored. I haven't had a nightmare in years. Title: Nightmare!!! Post by: Simon Pieman on Monday, February 14, 2005, 17:38:54 i keep getting really crazy (and i mean fucked up) vivid dreams all the time. recently, they seem to be more vivid if i lie on one side (strange but true)
Title: Nightmare!!! Post by: janaage on Tuesday, February 15, 2005, 09:41:13 I get fucked up dreams when I'm not feeling too well, as per Sunday night. Anyone able to control their dreams?? Lucid dreaming, I do quite a bit, it's quality.

Post by: STFCBird on Tuesday, February 15, 2005, 09:58:45 I dreamt that I was kidnapped and held hostage by Bono from U2 the other night, I was doing that trying to run but actually it was that stupid slow motion, bouncing up and down like I am walking on the moon thing instead. I fucking hate that.
